I Became An Inspector Because I've Been The Buyer
I became a home inspector because of my own experiences as a homebuyer. After going through inspections that left me feeling unprepared and uncertain, I knew there had to be a better way. My goal is to provide every client with a thorough, honest inspection and the clear information they need to move forward confidently with their home purchase.
Before becoming a home inspector, I spent more than 20 years in the automotive industry managing service departments. That experience taught me the importance of attention to detail, clear communication, reliability, and exceptional customer service. I believe every client should be treated with the same care and respect I would want for my own family.
I also come from a family with a strong construction and handyman background. The knowledge and hands-on experience I gained over the years made home inspection a natural transition and allows me to evaluate homes with a practical, well-rounded perspective.
My wife and I have been married for 13 years, and we have two children, a 12-year-old daughter and a 10-year-old son. When we are not working, our family enjoys cooking at home and spending summer days at the lake. During the fall and winter, my son and I also enjoy hunting together.
The name Look to Cook Home Inspections honors my family’s history in Little Rock. Cook Jeep operated in downtown Little Rock for nearly 100 years, and the “Look to Cook” name and recognizable “slobbering hog” logo were associated with the family business for many years. I am proud to carry that legacy of service, trust, and community into a new generation.
